Tentative Agenda:

• Rob Smook, Assistant Director over the Animal Services Division of the Arizona Department of Agriculture (ADA), will update us on the personnel hiring, technology upgrades and policy changes being implemented at ADA to improve your ability to get cattle inspections completed efficiently.
• Dr. Walker from the ADA will discuss the new USDA rule on Electronic ID and will demonstrate ADA’s new Cattle Veterinary Inspection software.
• Dan Bell will update us on SACPA’s intervention in the Coronado Forest litigation
• Patrick Bray will be asked to update us on what the General election results will mean for Arizona cattle producers.
• We are hoping to have an update from a representative of Arizona State Lands Department.
• We are hoping to hear from the new rancher liaison for the Border Patrol.
