Three federal agencies announce future regulatory intentions

Three federal agencies published the following announcements of their future regulatory plans:

  1. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service have announced their intent to rescind five agriculture-friendly Endangered Species Act regulatory revisions that were finalized during the Trump Administration. This will allow the agencies to reclaim nearly unlimited Obama-era authority to designate unoccupied lands as critical habitat, in alignment with the  Biden “30X30” agenda.
  2. The Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of the Army have announced their intent to rescind the Navigable Waters definition under the Clean Water Act so the agencies can reclaim unlimited Obama-era authority over every drop of water in the United States, in alignment with the Biden “30X30” agenda.
  3. The USDA announced it intends to to propose three new Packers and Stockyards rules as part of its regulatory agenda. The full USDA regulatory agenda can be accessed here.
